The Round Table

China and Tibet … Darfur genocide … German history … Who is affected? Why should we care?

Living on campus, away from home, it is easy to forget that a world exists outside of our little bubble. Crises, political reformations, oppression, injustice … life continues, the world turns. Whether or not we are affected, many of us still care about what is going on around the world. At Jacobs, students may choose to express their concerns constructively – through initiatves by the Amnesty International student group or events hosted by the B-a-Link activity group – or to impose their views via the students’ mailing list (the inevitable spam wars).

Share your views, concerns, observations, ideas here. Take the time to consider the opinions of others and understand why they hold them. Let’s discuss!
