hmm…my favourite event? My 1st year at this university is almost over and it was packed with lots of events. It is difficult to pick a single one and label it “my favourite”… We had parties, balls, talent shows, and CIDs…yes CIDs…sounds weird, I know, but our Country Information Days are really great…after thinking about this question for quite I decided to pick the Pakistani CID…

This time the Pakistani community on campus put lots of efforts into the CID to present us their home country, and it turned out to be a wonderful evening.

It was absolutely worth it to skip class for this event (yes, CIDs are on Thursday evenings and sometimes you are the unlucky person who has class)…they had presentations about the people, the landscape, festivals, literature, and the food- very important part Pakistanis love their food!

Probably one of the funniest parts were the videos when other students were asked what they think about Pakistan…I love this videos and I’m sure that you are also going to like things like that after being at your first CID J…Maybe I mange to include them in this post…let’s see…

Additionally, we’ve seen lovely dances and got good food…really good food…and believe me at some point at this university good food is of high value…
